Awal bulan ini saya sempat berfikir untuk selingkuh, mungkin karena banyaknya acara gosip yang suka melintas di depan mata saya…”kayaknya selingkuh enak juga” he..he..he ( jangan bilang-bilang istri saya yah!) 
. Si pacar lama saya Windows XP sudah lama saya gandeng hingga sudah saya kasih perhiasan termahal berupa SP3 dari sebuah toko terkenal dengan nama Microsoft, tapi tetap saja dia makin gak langsing “kaya saya..ops!”…dan banyak mengidap penyakit dari berbagai macam trojan dan virus, belum lagi daki-daki berupa file temporary yang bertebaran di badannya buat saya gerah kalau harus tidur sama dia huahauhauhauau…..
Tiba..tiba dikala saya lagi sedih liat Palestina di serang jews dan kehabisan tiket untuk kembali dari BDG ke YK pasca tahun baru ….ada sesosok cantik yang menggoda saya ..Linux Mint dengan tengtop betuliskan “Felicia” wow seep! akhirnya dengan bermodal HP BenQ S81 punya istri saya dan si broooom saya coba merayunya …lumayan butuh waktu 23 jam 41 menit 42 detik buat bisa mengajaknya selingkuhan di notebook saya..sekarang dia sudah menginap disalah satu kamar harddisk saya ….dan..go on!

Based on Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex, Linux 2.6.27, Gnome 2.24 and Xorg 7.4, Linux Mint 6 “Felicia” comes with a brand new “Software Manager”, FTP support in mintUpload, proxy support and history of updates in mintUpdate, mint4win (a Linux Mint installer for Microsoft Windows), tabbed browsing in Nautilus and a lot of other improvements.
One of the features Mint has been lacking as a family desktop is the ability for parents to prevent their children from accessing certain websites. Parental control is easy to set up in Microsoft Windows and we got a lot of feedback from people who migrated to Linux and who missed this feature. Of course one could install DansGuardian and a few other packages but it’s not easy, it usually requires the use of a proxy and it’s also quite complex to configure. For Linux Mint 6 we came with a compromise and we decided to implement a minimal set of features but to make it as trivial to use as possible. So here comes mintNanny.
If you run Microsoft Windows, insert the liveCD and a program called mint4win will launch automatically. This program is an installer for Linux Mint which runs on Windows. It installs Linux Mint within a file on one your partitions and it doesn’t touch your existing partitions. It also sets up a Windows multiboot for you.
Ini nih yang ane suka Mint4Win , semacam Wubi jadi bisa install mint langsung via windows tanpa harus pusing-pusing partisi sana sini..dan langusng dual boot! cakepkan si “Felicia” kurang apa lagi dia ….cakep..cakep…cakep
